EIF 2009 - Ian Livingstone

As promised yesterday here is the second QnA session I recorded at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival 2009.

This is with Ian Livingstone, and like yesterday it is mostly myself and PS3 Attitude doing the questioning.

Ian Livingstone is a childhood hero of mine and many others my age. He wrote the Fighting Fantasy 'Choose Your Own Adventure' books that were a big part of my childhood as well as founding Games Workshop and White Dwarf magazine. He is currently Life President of Eidos (Tomb Raider, Championship Manager, Hitman, etc) and sits as a member of the aquisition board.

All these things are discussed in the QnA along with Fighting Fantasy on iPhone, new FF hardcopy book, Tomb Raider - both Games and Movies, Batman : Arkham Asylum and licensed IPs v's original IPs, Edinburgh Interactive, Board Games/Tabletop RPGs, new Hitman game, Minininjas, motion-sensing technology ie. Natal and ... DEUS EX 3 !!!

Little bit of trivia I learned in a one-on-one with him before the QnA - He has a boardgame group that meets every 10 days that includes Steve Jackson and Peter Molyneux!
